First Cut: Charlie Curran V Chris Mapp

Charlie Curran (Peppercorn Restaurant) will take on Chris Mapp for a place in the semi-final on 28th September.
These two chefs both hold a wealth of experience and have perfected their craft under celebrity chefs in London’s Michelin star fine dining scene. Charlie’s had his taste of Sheff’s Kitchen glory before, having been crowned winner in 2015, and he’s ready to get to the top again! Meanwhile Chris joins the competition for his first year keen to show our diners how experience, a love of good food and fine dining flair come together.
Both chefs are now at the helm of their own local restaurants championing local produce, and they’re coming together to show us the best of Sheffield’s fine dining scene for one great event. The knives are out for this interesting cook off! Once again our judges have been handpicked; bringing a wealth of experience from the food industry to the table for a fair and honest result.
