Head Chef, Castle Inn, Bradway
Jack has always known he wanted to be a chef, his parents tell him he decided this at only four years of age when he used to love helping cook for the family.
He spent 18 months in the kitchen of the prestigious 4 star ‘Inn at Perry Cabin’ on the Eastern Shore of St. Michaels, Maryland USA. The spectacular 19th-century manor house sits in the pristinely preserved Victorian town of St. Michaels and is famous for its fresh fish and crab cookery.
After returning home to sunny England; Jack spent the next 12 years opening restaurants for other people before deciding to go it alone with his good friend Winnie.
Jack says “both Winnie and I love cooking good honest gastro food so the thought of working together was a no brainer! We visited the Castle Inn, Bradway in July 2015 and fell in love with the place so decided to take it on. It was a great move as every day is an exciting adventure for us, I’ve never looked back”
