First Cut: Seymour Millington V Jordan Goodall

Seymour Millington (Chesterfield FC) will take on Jordan Goodall (Peak Edge Hotel) for a place in the semi-final on 4th October.
The voice of experience takes on the enthusiastic young blood in this round.
Local lad Seymour spent the beginning of his career in various 5 star hotels and rosette awarded restaurants, which include the Park Lane hotel London & Rhodes & co, Manchester.
Trained at Sheffield College and now A Master Chef of Great Britain, Seymour is bringing finely tuned skills to the Sheff’s Kitchen competition. At present, Seymour uses the solid foundations of his work ethic in his role as executive head chef at Chesterfield F.C
Jordan Goodall might be the youngest chef in the competition this year but he has the ambition and drive that would challenge any chef. Currently Commis Chef/ Banquet Chef at Hellaby Hall he can’t wait to get stuck in and show us his own style on his own merit. Inspired by the head chef in his first working kitchen and watching the likes of Gordan Ramsay on the tv growing up, Jordan strives to provide diners with an exciting overall dining experience. Let’s see if this youngster can pull it off!
Both chefs are busily working away planning their menus to dazzle you on the night, and we’re expecting culinary masterpieces from both kitchens.Each one will be using high welfare Whirlow produce grown in our fields and hand picked or butchered right next door to the venue on the night, we’re eager to see who will showcase our food in the most creative way for our diners. During the evening we will ask for your votes on each course and our expert judging panel will share their feedback with you at the end of the night…will your choice concur with theirs?
