Lee Mangles

Head Chef, Abbeydale Golf Club

Having competed in all but one of the Sheff’s Kitchen competitions since its origin in 2014, Lee is no stranger to the competition. Keen to be back in the saddle he will be representing his new workplace, Abbeydale Golf Club of which he is their new Head Chef.

Lee has a strong history of working in successful kitchens across the UK including venues such as The Old Course Hotel; St Andrews (voted top 20 in the world)

Lee has performed many a demo for the Sheffield Food Festival, Chatwsorth Country Fair (alongside Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood and Valentine Warner) and has always been an ambassador for the high welfare produce at Whirlow Hall Farm, using this at various bistro nights over the years raising funds for various charities.

A fun chef with a creative mind, we can’t wait to see what he brings to the table this year.
