Head Chef, Public
Tom (known to his friends as Ronnie) is a self trained chef who began cooking at 18 and has worked all over the country, including London and Manchester, before settling in Sheffield.
Whilst in South Yorkshire Tom has worked at various establishments including pubs and restaurants, at at a whole range of levels gaining him varied experience for the competition.
Tom is now cooking in the popular new cocktail bar Public, a former public convenience that opened to serve drinks and food next to the Town Hall in November 2017. Tom works closely with the bar’s general Manger and cocktail aficionado, trying to break down the barriers between bartender and chef and to create an exceptional, high quality experience for both food and drink.
